Elevation Recruitment Group is working on behalf of a well‑established business to recruit a qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable, qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) for a short‑term, 3‑month assignment. This hands‑on role is focused on delivering accurate management accounts, supporting month‑end close, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, works efficiently, and can immediately add value.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budget monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting processes.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and insights as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial policies.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).

Experience

• Proven experience in hands‑on management accounting within a medium‑to‑large business.
• Comfortable managing tight deadlines and working independently.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Practical, results‑oriented, and efficient approach.
• Clear communicator, able to present financial information to internal stakeholders.
• Able to quickly understand business operations and financial drivers.
