Management Accountant – Vertu Land Rover Taunton
Basic Salary: £40,000 + Company Car & Excellent Company Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant or an Assistant Accountant able to step up. If you’re analytical, organised, and passionate about supporting business performance, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant
- Motor trade experience and knowledge of Kerridge (or similar systems) preferred but not essential
- Strong communication skills with both financial and non‑financial stakeholders
- Excellent numerical and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with the Accountant to produce accurate financial information, enabling effective business decision‑making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing management accounts
- Forecasts and estimates
- Payroll processing
- Accruals and prepayments
- Cashflow management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconciling manufacturer bonuses
- Creating spreadsheets and statistical reports for the management team
- Coaching and developing colleagues within the finance team
