4x Senior Business Analysts-Financial Controls Specialists (SOX)

I’m currently looking for experienced Senior Business Analyst who specialises in Financial Controls to support a major SOX compliance programme in the UK.

Location: Liverpool (3–5 days onsite)

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-impact project, partnering closely with finance leaders and working alongside a leading consultancy delivering SOX expertise.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the design and enhancement of finance processes and controls aligned to SOX




• Identifying control gaps and driving remediation actions




• Coordinating testing activities and maintaining key SOX documentation




• Engaging with stakeholders across Finance, Business, and IT




• Leading process improvement initiatives and facilitating workshops

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Finance background (GL, reconciliations, reporting, accounting ops)




• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a regulated environment




• Solid understanding of internal controls / SOX frameworks




• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills




• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with COSO or similar frameworks




• Exposure to audit cycles and finance systems (ERP, reporting tools)
