We’re working with a leading regulatory legal membership organisation to recruit a highly organised Public Affairs Assistant to join their Public Affairs team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in politics and the legal sector who is looking to build a career in public affairs. You’ll support the delivery of parliamentary monitoring, policy research, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs activity across the organisation.

In this varied role, you’ll track and analyse political developments, prepare briefings, coordinate meetings and events, and support the delivery of campaigns and public affairs initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring colleagues are kept informed of key parliamentary activity and that outputs are delivered to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Some experience in a public affairs, parliamentary, policy or related setting would be beneficial, along with a genuine interest in UK politics and the justice system.
