We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Midlands-based residential groundworks contractor, now expanding its commercial team due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and tendered projects. With an annual turnover of approximately £80 m, this business offers long‑term stability and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise contract profitability across multiple projects
• Prepare and manage client variation quotations
• Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports
• Apply value engineering principles to improve project outcomes
• Manage commercial aspects of residential groundworks packages
• Carry out the full range of Quantity Surveyor duties across live sites

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Value engineering experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
