Yorkshire Laser & Fabrications are looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant to support our finance function and ensure smooth day to day accounting processes. You will support the finance team with core accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and contribute to efficient financial operations.
You will be based at our modern West Yorkshire facility and enjoy flexible work arrangements.
Part time, 3 days per week (flexible). Potential for full time working in the future.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping, including data entry and ledger maintenance
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Supporting month end and year end processes
- Handling internal and external finance queries
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as required
Experience/ Knowledge
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
