Credit Manager

Eutopia Search are working in partnership with a growing, forward-thinking business in Northampton to appoint a Credit Manager. This is a high-impact role with real ownership, ideal for someone who wants to shape and elevate a credit function in a fast-moving environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll take full responsibility for the credit control function, driving cash collection, reducing risk, and implementing robust processes that support the business as it continues to scale. This is a visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the credit control function
• Drive cash collection performance and reduce aged debt
• Implement and refine credit policies, controls, and procedures
• Assess and manage customer credit risk and exposure
• Produce insightful reporting on KPIs, cash flow, and debtor performance
• Partner with sales and finance teams to support commercial decision-making
• Identify and deliver process and system improvements

About You

• Proven experience in a Credit Manager or senior-level credit role
• Strong track record of improving cash flow and reducing debtor days
• Confident stakeholder manager, able to challenge and influence
• Hands‑on, commercially aware, and solutions‑focused
• Strong Excel and systems capability
