This vacancy provides an opportunity for qualified nurses and midwives who have a keen interest in public health to become student health visitors, enabling them to learn the essential skills to deliver the healthy child programme and provide early intervention and support for children and families to ensure they reach their full potential.
The role is advertised as an apprenticeship working alongside qualified health visitors and attending LJM University.
We are currently waiting for the Government decision regarding the future of Health Visitor and School Nurse Apprenticeships.
