What Role You Will Play In Our Team
We are currently seeking Mechanical / Materials / Integrity Engineers to join our global, highly skilled team at the UK’s strategic industry complex. We are looking for highly capable engineers to bring fresh perspectives, whilst working within our operational frameworks. The role is based at our Fawley site.
What You Will Do
- Provide engineering input to manage the mechanical integrity of our fixed equipment assets.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, such as pressure systems safety regulations, through our written schemes of examination.
- Act as a Technical Advisor to our business teams, providing assistance with risk‑based decision making, management of change and owners engineering.
- Assess equipment condition in the field and define repair scopes to fixed equipment.
- Develop worklists for events/turnarounds and support work scope creation to ensure safe, reliable operation.
- Mentor other engineers, with the aim of developing both our knowledge and people.
About You
- Hold an engineering degree in materials or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent subject.
- Be working toward becoming a Chartered Engineer, as defined by the Engineering Council or equivalent. (This is supported by our IMechE accredited MPDS scheme.)
- Candidates experienced with pressure systems are preferred but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with experience in other related industries such as pipelines and power.
- Possess a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment.
