The Opportunity

Due to recent project wins in the Healthcare sector, the company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS to lead on complex, extremely high-value Healthcare schemes while developing both technical and client-facing skills in a supportive consultancy environment.

You will work closely with senior colleagues, gaining exposure to project leadership, client management, and progression routes towards Associate QS level and beyond in a highly supportive and flexible environment.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in:

  • Delivering pre‑ and post‑contract Quantity Surveying services across Healthcare projects
  • Preparing cost plans, feasibility studies, procurement strategies, and risk assessments
  • Supporting contract administration, change management, and financial reporting
  • Working under NEC contracts (essential)
  • Liaising with clients, clinical stakeholders, and design teams
  • Contributing to commercial management and project delivery from early stages to final account
  • Supporting and strengthening client relationships
  • Working collaboratively within a growing Healthcare project team

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Consultancy / PQS‑side experience
  • Experience with leading teams
  • Experience in Healthcare, public‑sector or complex built‑environment projects
  • Experience working on Capital Projects
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
  • MRICS status or working toward it (full support provided)
  • Experience with NEC forms of contract
  • Ambition to take on increasing responsibility, including client‑facing and leadership opportunities
