About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our specialist operation. This role is not general car work — you must have strong experience with commercial or light commercial vehicles, with particular emphasis on Ford Transits.

This is a hands‑on role involving diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and engine work.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults on commercial vehicles using live data and scan tools
• Mechanical repairs including engines, fuel systems, timing, injectors, and turbo systems
• Engine strip‑downs, inspections, and rebuilds
• DPF, SCR, AdBlue, and emissions fault diagnosis
• Removal and refitting of used and new parts
• Road testing and post‑repair verification
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

Requirements

• Proven experience working on commercial or light commercial vehicles
• Strong knowledge of Ford Transit platforms (2.2 / 2.4 / Euro 4–6 preferred)
• Confident with diagnostics and fault finding (not just parts fitting)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a small team
