The Role
Purpose of the roleEnhance the delivery of the world’s most complex and interesting projects through project planning. You will be a senior leader pushing the discipline to new heights within Laminar and the industry.
Your teamPart of our Project Management Consultancy, focusing on understanding project problems, implementing solutions, and developing scalable practices, tools, and technology. You will be part of our Project Planning Discipline Team, led by a planning discipline director.
Your top three objectives1) Make construction projects deliver to near perfection2) Create scalable and repeatable solutions to common problems3) Develop yourself and everyone around you
Your five responsibilities1) Own the plan: Own the project plan and ensure the project works to it, with delays mitigated and managed commercially2) Own the outcome: Ensure the project team understands and focuses on the plan3) Report and inform: Provide actionable reports to stakeholders to improve delivery4) Make scalable solutions: Develop scalable best practices and tools with the team5) Develop everyone: Maximise development of the team and educate clients
Must have• A construction engineering background with solid planning capability across strategic objectives and context• Excellent written and verbal English and the ability to influence construction teams• Leadership: proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams• Impact: track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions with positive outcomes
