Role overview

This role focuses onfull interior architecture, detailed room layouts, bespoke joinery design, FF&E specification, and technical documentation for luxury residential projects.

You will take conceptual design direction and translate it into detailed drawing packages, material schedules, bespoke furniture details, and fully coordinated interior architecture outputs.

You will work closely with directors, architects, vendors, and procurement teams.

Aim for candidates withultra‑luxury residential experienceand strong technical design capability.

Key responsibilities:

  • prepare complete interior layouts: furniture plans, lighting plans, reflected ceiling plans, room arrangements
  • specify FF&E, hard finishes, sanitaryware, ironmongery, materials & architectural accessories
  • produce detailed bathroom, kitchen, joinery and millwork packages: elevations, sections, schedules, specifications
  • design bespoke furniture, wardrobes, vanities, panelling, feature walls & custom joinery
  • review and coordinate drawings with design directors, interior architecture teams, and external consultants
  • liaise with suppliers, contractors, artisans and procurement teams for samples, pricing and shop drawings
  • review and approve shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and buildability
  • conduct site visits to ensure work is executed per design & technical drawings
  • prepare material palettes, schedules, and detailed technical documentation
  • ensure integration of interior architecture details with MEP, structure, and site constraints
  • use AutoCAD, Adobe Suite & SketchUp for documentation; Revit / 3D viz experience is a plus
  • use AI tools for research, workflow acceleration, and documentation efficiency (preferred)

Skills and requirements

Must-have skills

  • minimum five plus years’ experience in luxury residential interior architecture
  • strong space planning, furniture layout, and room arrangement abilities
  • expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), SketchUp
  • excellent material knowledge, finishes, sanitaryware, ironmongery & luxury specifications
  • ability to design detailed joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes & bespoke interiors
  • strong technical drawing production and detailing skills
  • experience preparing schedules (finishes, sanitaryware, ironmongery, lighting, FF&E)
  • strong communication skills for supplier, contractor & design coordination

Preferred skills

  • experience in ultra-luxury homes/villas/penthouses
  • Revit or 3D visualisation experience (V‑Ray, Enscape, 3ds Max)
  • familiarity with AI‑driven design tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Midjourney etc.)
  • ability to handle multiple international projects and stakeholders

Qualifications

Degree in interior architecture, architecture, interior design, or related field

five plus years’ experience in high‑end residential projects (mandatory).
