Coded Welder

We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Coded Welder to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects. We require fully skilled personnel to work on close tolerance work with a good all round engineering experience. Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Must be proficient in MIG welding using 1.2 wire; experience in medium to heavy MIG welding, FCAW welding and qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 287 would be preferred.

Ideal Experience

• Experience within a fabrication environment.
• Experience in both light and heavy MIG welding
• Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent
• Coded to a recognised standard
• MMA/FCAW
• Ultrasonic work
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
• Overhead crane operating experience.
• A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping.

• A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues.
• A good verbal communicator.
