Overview

Exciting things are happening within the Emergency and Ambulatory Services. We’re looking for an exceptionally talented individual who has significant clinical experience within the acute care. To be our Ward Manager within Carroll ward, you will be a highly skilled professional who can make their own mark within our services. You should consider ways of working to deliver improved patient care and organizational efficiencies. You should have extremely good people skills and the ability to take services forward. The Units aims to deliver a high standard of care so we will be looking for the right candidate to help us take it one step further and enhance our service delivery program in line with changing local needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on quality, performance and financial standards while ensuring a positive patient experience as a key member of the team.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with partner organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Support the ED Matrons and Head of Nursing in leading the ED Teams.
  • Help manage Carroll ward as an ED observation ward looking after both bedded and ambulant patients.
  • Contribute to improving patient care and organizational efficiencies through innovative practice and collaboration.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Significant clinical experience within the acute care sector.
  • Experience of working in acute and emergency medicine.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hardworking with proven clinical experience.
