Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will lead a team focused on delivering high‑quality, person‑centred support. Your day‑to‑day activities will include:
- Showing other teams what good support looks like and helping managers grow confidence and skills.
- Building relationships with families and stakeholders to help the people we support achieve great outcomes.
- Encouraging teams to be creative, courageous, and practical in helping people live life their way.
- Ensuring people receive safe, consistent support that is always shaped around them.
- Leading with heart, setting a clear example and creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
- Maintaining and managing an effective budget.
- Enhancing and maintaining quality and compliance across all locations under your management.
- Acting as the Registered Manager for your locations and sharing in the on‑call rota.
- Working flexibly, as required, and frequently traveling across the area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing teams (managers) in supported living, ideally with adults having Learning Disabilities and Autism.
- Clear understanding of regulator expectations, including the CQC.
- Experience in managing and maintaining a budget.
- Proven track record in driving and maintaining KPIs, compliance, and quality.
- Comfortable using tools such as Word, Excel, and everyday IT systems.
