Mammographer – Leicester Hospital (Nuffield Health)

Type: Bank – Ad hoc up to £35.00 per hour

Main responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
• Work with leading practitioners in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Experience and adopt new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Develop policies, procedures and support junior colleagues.
• Provide a service delivered with sensitivity, compassion and empathy toward each patient.

Qualifications

• BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) to meet HCPC registration requirements.
• Post‑graduate qualification in mammography.

Experience

• Post‑registration experience in mammography or an equivalent diagnostic radiography role.

Person Specification

• High levels of technical knowledge with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Caring nature and strong empathy for patients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
