Job Description:
Role
As a production chemist you will work as part of the scientific operations shift team and will assist in setting up automated chemical reactions, as well as general lab maintenance & cleanliness (stock solutions, preparation of raw materials, glassware maintenance). Alongside this you will communicate with other teams to ensure lab maintenance is kept across the business and to collaborate on cross‑disciplinary tasks.
Right Person
- Recently qualified chemistry (or similar) students (HNC, HND, BSc or MSc will be considered)
- Demonstrable experience in a laboratory environment is essential
- Must be hard‑working and be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute
- Must be flexible and agile to work varying shifts in a fast‑moving environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of safe laboratory practises
