We are recruiting on behalf of an established domiciliary care and supported living provider delivering services across the Birmingham area.

Role Description

This is an interim, full-time on-site role for an experienced Service Manager to support a supported living service in Birmingham for an initial 3-month period. The postholder will provide day-to-day leadership, oversee service delivery, support staff performance, maintain safe and effective care, and help drive improvement across quality, compliance, and operational systems. A clinical background is essential, with the ability to step in quickly and provide confident, hands‑on leadership from the outset. Previous CQC registration experience and TDDI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Registered healthcare professional with a clinical background essential, with Learning Disabilities Nurse qualification preferred, although any experienced candidate with a relevant clinical qualification will be considered. Proven management experience within domiciliary care, supported living, or similar health and social care services. Strong understanding of safeguarding, governance, compliance, and service improvement. Previous CQC registration experience and TDDI experience preferred. Ability to lead teams effectively, work at pace, and provide confident interim support from day one.
