Job Description:

Are you a commercially minded talent leader who understands what great sales performance actually looks like? Do you thrive in high-accountability environments where results matter, standards are high, and performance is measured in revenue — not activity?

A fast-growing, performance-driven media agency is looking for a Sales Training Manager to build and lead its internal talent engine.

This role combines full-cycle recruitment with structured sales training and onboarding, ensuring new hires become revenue-generating, client-ready performers as quickly and sustainably as possible.

This is a fully office-based role in London, working closely with leadership and the sales team daily. If you’re structured, commercially sharp, and passionate about building high-performing sales teams, this could be your next step.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • ✔️ Defining ideal candidate profiles for sales and operational roles
  • ✔️ Writing and managing job listings, proactively sourcing high-calibre talent
  • ✔️ Running structured interviews, assessments and roleplay stages
  • ✔️ Designing and delivering a formal 30-60-90 day onboarding programme
  • ✔️ Training new hires on prospecting frameworks, objection handling, CRM usage and client communication standards
  • ✔️ Conducting live call training, shadowing and structured feedback sessions
  • ✔️ Certifying new hires as “client-ready” before account ownership
  • ✔️ Tracking performance metrics including time to first meeting, time to first deal and 90-day revenue
  • ✔️ Driving retention, accountability and performance standards across the sales function

What You’ll Bring ✅

  • ✨ Strong understanding of outbound, revenue-driven sales environments
  • ✨ Commercial awareness and performance focus
  • ✨ Highly organised, process-driven and structured mindset
  • ✨ Confidence to hold high standards and make objective hiring decisions

Success in this role is measured by quality of hire, speed to productivity, revenue contribution and retention — not just hiring volume.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Commission on revenue collected from each new hire’s first closed deal
  • £500 bonus for each hire who successfully completes probation and meets benchmarks
  • Clear performance alignment with revenue and long-term retention
