Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing housebuilding business. This is a multi-tasking role that is integral to the business function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior management, buyers, and engineering contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost control and contractual obligations across multiple construction projects
• Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with senior management, buyers, and contractors to monitor budgets, forecasts, and procurement processes
• Use COINS system to track costs, commitments, and payments
• Assist in project planning, valuation, and reporting to maintain financial oversight
• Ensure all work complies with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

✅ Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within housebuilding or construction
• Experience of engineering, highways and ground investigation
• Strong knowledge of COINS system or similar construction accounting software
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
