Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity for a Part Time Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.
- Providing day-to-day care and creating a safe, homely, therapeutic environment.
- Supporting daily routines such as getting ready for school and ensuring they have healthy and balanced meals.
- Ensuring the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind within the home.
- Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
- Supporting development through stimulating activities and consistent care.
- Building meaningful relationships and ensuring safeguarding needs are met.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and contributing to care planning.

What We’re Looking For From You
- Full UK Manual Diving licence is essential to take our children to school, appointments, and activities.
- Ability to be a great role model to our looked‑after children.
- Ability to build trusting relationships.
- A genuine care and compassion to work with looked‑after children.
- Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and sleep‑in periods.
- Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People Workforce.
