Hi my name is Rob and I have Multiple Sclerosis, I am looking for a personal assistant with certain qualities that will aid me in my recovery and my well being. I have a very good sense of humour and I am always smiling even though my Life is extremely hard. I am looking for someone that is caring, patient, practical and can work on his/ or her own self-esteem. They must also has a good sense of humour as I find that one thing helps my condition. I need someone who is enthusiastic and uplifting as this also helps me get more motivated. I also love to paint when I can, also it helps me mentally and physically! It also helps me focus. I also like to go out to live music my favourite is the blues and I go most Monday nights. .
I stretch daily as I like to keep fit and being in a wheelchair it keeps my muscles from being too tight. Also I go to the gym 3 times a week for strengthening, somebody with a physio/ care background or knowledge in this area would be a great help as I find it’s where I need help the most but it’s not essential. Although Most things can be learned along the way! You will need to be fairly flexible on shift times due to my changing illness and the other girls shift patterns. There are Day shifts and night shifts available which will be discussed when we meet. A driving licence is not necessary Please only apply for this job if you are serious!
