HGV Fleet Mechanic
Shift: 40 Hours – Monday to Friday -10am -7pm
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £40,000 -£19.23 per hour – no weekends
Class 1 Required
About your new company
My client is a privately owned transport company who have been established for over 40 years. They repair and maintain their own Fleet of vehicles which consist of over 40 x HGV’s which are all Marcedes, they also maintain a number of trailers for external clients. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician.
About your new HGV Mechanic role
You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to complete vehicle overhauls.
You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements.
You will also be required to undertake pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
The successful HGV Mechanic will require
- An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
- Hold an HGV licence Class 1
- Qualified or Time Served
- Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician
