Trainee Machine Operator

Overview

As our name suggests we manufacture Springs & Pressings. We are looking for a trainee to join our very busy manufacturing environment. This role is within the pressings manufacturing part of our business, and involves the setting of power presses which operate progression press tools. A better understanding can be gained from viewing our website and company video.

Responsibilities

• No prior experience is required; any background in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be helpful.
• Full training is given on a one-to-one basis, while shadowing and minding of machines will be the initial role.
• Wear ear defenders at all times in the work environment.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary is £25k pa.

• Regular appraisal with training objectives which will reflect pay increases.

Hours

07:40-16:25 Mon – Thursday; 07:40-12:10 Friday.
