Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre‑planned maintenance, attending service calls, diagnosing and repairing faults with air conditioning and refrigeration in commercial and industrial environments
• Installation of VRVs/CRAC units
• Provide technical support to other engineers
• Provide training to apprentices
• Be a part of a call‑out rota
• Keeping logbooks up to date

Qualifications

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer to cover a number of Data Centre/Commercial sites across the Berkshire/Hampshire. The successful candidate must have a very good knowledge across air conditioning and refrigeration systems, particularly CRAC units and VRVs.

• NVQ level 2/3 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
• F‑Gas qualification
• Excellent understanding of general refrigeration, chiller water systems, split and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems and refrigeration packs
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• A full UK driving licence
