Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Architect (RIBA Part 1 or above) to join our team on a part‑time basis (11:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday). The role focuses on residential housing projects, including extensions and internal reconfigurations. You will work from existing survey drawings to produce accurate, high‑quality architectural plans using Revit. This position is ideal for a junior or early‑career architect looking to strengthen their technical and design expertise while working on a variety of interesting residential schemes. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team committed to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed architectural drawings in Revit based on existing site survey information
  • Develop layouts for extensions, internal reconfigurations, and small residential projects
  • Prepare drawings for planning applications
  • Implement design revisions promptly and accurately as required
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure drawings align with planning requirements
  • Offer professional input on technical design considerations (e.g., wall construction, stair design)

About You

  • RIBA Part 1 qualified or above
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Experience in residential architecture (essential)
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating relevant design and technical work
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Recap and point cloud processing (advantageous)
  • Reliable, responsive, and proactive in handling feedback or revisions
  • Comfortable working remotely with effective time management skills
  • Excellent technical understanding and attention to detail
