Overview

Location: South Lanarkshire • Hours: Monday – Friday (No On-Call) • Overtime: Available – Time & 1/2 Mon-Fri | Double Time Weekends

FM Search & Select are currently working with a leading Facilities Management provider who are looking to recruit a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across South Lanarkshire.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with no on-call rota, offering a good work-life balance while still having the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
  • Responding to reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Maintenance of lighting, power distribution and electrical plant
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Completing job reports and maintenance documentation
  • Supporting general building services maintenance when required

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician (SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition
  • Experience within commercial or facilities management environments
  • Ability to clear a PVG check
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
