Prime property Valuer/ Lister (Residential Lettings)

We are looking for someone to join us on a permanent basis as a valuer/ lister working with prime properties across York and North Yorkshire. This role is based within our residential lettings team, and primarily at our city-centre office in York.

Role Description

• Looking out for new business opportunities, arranging and conducting valuations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with premium clients and investors
• Onboarding new landlords and advising on legislation (KYC and AML checks, completing Agency agreements and property information forms)
• Preparing properties for marketing (writing descriptions, arranging marketing appointments, making sure properties are presented to a high standard)
• Organising viewings with interested applicants (assisting with viewings as needed, providing viewing feedback to landlords)
• Agreeing new tenancies (dealing with applications, negotiating between landlord and applicants, organising safety certificates and inventories)
• Predominantly a front-end role, overseeing the client journey from property valuation to start of tenancy
• The role would be based at our York office, with appointments to take place across North Yorkshire and East Riding

• Autonomy to manage your own diary and appointments

What are we looking for?

• Previous residential lettings experience required, ideally within a senior negotiator or valuer/ lister role
• Understanding of the high-end lettings market
• Meticulous attention to detail, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle

*Ideally, we are looking for someone on a full-time basis, however flexible working/ part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate*
