Bridgewater High School is seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join our Lower School office team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s reception and administrative functions. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a welcoming and efficient service while supporting the wider school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional reception service, welcoming visitors and directing them appropriately.
- Handle telephone calls, forward messages, and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Accurately record student attendance and absence.
- Deliver first aid to students and comply with the school’s accident and incident procedures.
- Organise and maintain an efficient reception area.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to teaching and administrative staff.
- Manage internal and external communication systems, including post and email.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations, particularly regarding pupil data.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and adhere to safeguarding and security policies.
- Undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post.
