About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join a busy and supportive team. This role will initially focus heavily on posting and allocating payments, making it ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and a high level of accuracy.
Over time, the role has scope to develop into a broader administrative position depending on the individual’s strengths and progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately posting and allocating incoming payments onto internal systems
- Performing high-volume data entry with excellent attention to detail
- Reconciling payments against invoices and investigating discrepancies
- Maintaining and updating customer account records
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
- Assisting with document management, filing, and record keeping
- Responding to internal queries relating to payments in a timely manner
- Taking on additional responsibilities as the role evolves
About You:
- Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- Comfortable working with numbers and handling financial information
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
