You will work in a warm and active family supporting a vibrant 9‑year‑old girl with Cerebral Palsy, promoting independence and wellbeing while enjoying varied activities during term time.

- Nearest Station: Watford railway station
- Driving Requirements: Essential – clean licence and confident driving of a larger wheelchair‑accessible vehicle (automatic, with ramp/lift)
- Essential experience: manual handling/hoisting, Cerebral Palsy, AAC/assistive tech; willingness to travel, UK passport, clear DBS. Female applicants only.
- Desirable: Conductive Education experience; interest in health, fitness and wellbeing.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Days & Hours: Term‑time only, minimum 20 hours per week. Mon‑Wed: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Thu: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm. Fri: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Rosie is a sociable, adventurous 9‑year‑old who loves skiing, horse riding, travelling and exploring new experiences. She has Cerebral Palsy and uses a powered wheelchair, AAC and assistive technology. Rosie requires full support with mobility and positioning, eats a blended diet orally, and has a gentle prompt due to dysphagia. She thrives around warm, positive people who actively engage in her world and support her independence.
The Role at a Glance
In this varied and rewarding role you will assist with personal care, support nutrition and hydration, and help implement structured therapy and home‑learning programmes. The role also includes enabling Rosie to enjoy hobbies, outings and travel – both in the UK and abroad. Driving a wheelchair‑accessible vehicle is part of the responsibilities.
Additional hours may be available during evenings, weekends and school holidays.
