Overview
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will work closely with the school’s pastoral and safeguarding teams to support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs. You will help promote positive behaviour, improve engagement, and ensure students feel supported in school.
Responsibilities
- Providing pastoral support and behaviour guidance to students
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
- Delivering targeted interventions to improve attendance and engagement
- Working with staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements
- Experience working with young people or in a school support role
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and student well-being
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
