Job Overview
Axcis Education is currently hiring an early years teaching assistant to work in a school setting in Leominster. The role is ideally Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30 pm, with opportunities for part‑time and job‑share arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Support children in their first years of school life.
- Assist children with special educational needs, personal care needs or language delays.
- Provide an extra pair of hands in the classroom to support learning through play.
- Support the teacher during more formal lessons.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in a classroom or early‑years setting is preferred.
- Relevant experience with children, including care sector or babysitting, is acceptable.
- Must be able to provide an up‑to‑date DBS check or be prepared for Axcis to process one on your behalf.
- Prepared to attend a face‑to‑face interview with Axcis to demonstrate suitability for the role.
Additional Information
- Starting pay: £13.69 per hour.
- Temporary position unless stated otherwise.
- Referral bonus: £50 shopping vouchers for referring a friend who is successfully placed.
