Job Description

This role sits within a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented team. Reporting to the Director‑Agent Markets, the Assistant Commercial Manager will play a key role in supporting long‑term commercial growth in both direct and agent‑led business.

Key focus for this role will include:

  • Supporting direct global and regional partners to unlock growth and effectively execute commercial opportunities.
  • Leading the drive of localised budgets and agent relationships in select markets.
  • Streamlining processes and driving operational efficiency across the team.

Commercial & Market Support

  • Deliver against commercial and strategic objectives set by the Director, Agent Markets.
  • Lead agent relationships, day‑to‑day operations, and budget delivery for select markets.
  • Unlock growth across direct business by optimising key global and regional partners.
  • Support initiatives for priority franchises and retail accounts across larger agent markets.
  • Maintain strong day‑to‑day communication with external agents and internal teams to drive category, franchise, and retail growth.
  • Support agents with raising POs and managing marketing approvals across agreed retail accounts and markets.
  • Coordinate elements of the quarterly forecast cycle by gathering, validating, and consolidating agent submissions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Track incoming deal memos across agent markets and monitor progress through to full contract execution.
  • Support on additional projects and priorities as requested by the Director, Agent Markets and the RMD EMEA.

Operational Efficiency

  • Manage and maintain the Agents SharePoint site as the central information hub for both internal and external teams.
  • Track and consolidate market performance, category updates, sales trends, and retailer activity to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Facilitate regular best‑practice sharing across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Coordinate meetings, documentation, and operational tracker reports to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain and update licensee documentation and CRM records to create the most up‑to‑date agents hub database.
  • Coordinate attendance and logistics for major industry events such as international agent summits, in‑market partner summits, Brand Licensing Europe, Nuremberg Toy Fair, etc.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative, business support, or commercial coordination roles, ideally within licensing, retail, and/or the media landscape.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, and Word; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional EMEA languages are an advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management and collaboration skills.
