Functional Skills Tutors Required – Southport
Face‑to‑Face Tuition | 3 Learners | Start After Easter Break | Southport
Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced Functional Skills tutors to support three learners based in the Southport area. Each student requires structured, face‑to‑face tuition to help them progress toward their Functional Skills qualifications.
We are looking to appoint tutors as soon as possible, and sessions will be delivered in person within the local community.
The Tuition Requirements
- Subjects: Functional Skills Maths and/or English
- Learners: 3 individual students
- Hours: 4 hours per week per learner (12 hours total available)
- Delivery: Face‑to‑face
- Location: Southport
- Start: Straight after Easter Break
- Pay: Competitive hourly rates, dependent on experience

Candidate Requirements
- Have experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English
- Can plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions
- Are confident supporting learners with varied needs and abilities
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Are able to deliver tuition face‑to‑face in Southport
