HGV Drivers

Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Pallet Network Distribution Driver to join our busy transport team. This is a multi-drop role delivering palletised freight to commercial and residential customers within a designated area. The successful candidate will be confident operating an electric pump truck and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
• Operate an electric pump truck to move pallets
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic PODs
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
• Follow all health & safety and driving regulations

Requirements

• Valid (HGV Class 1 / Class 2 / 7.5T – adjust as required) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in pallet network distribution (preferred)
• Experience using an electric pump truck
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
