Academics are seeking passionate Team Teach Trained SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a specialist School in Chelmsford. This is an opportunity to make a difference in a supportive and nurturing environment, with potential for long‑term and permanent job opportunities. The job is starting in April and for the right individual it will extend to the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities
- Building secure relationships with children & young people
- Understanding the specific needs of the children especially those with trauma
- Supporting pupils with social and emotional needs
- Working 1:1 with the pupil
About You
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Previous experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity
- Desirable experience: Care work, working in a PRU, SEMH experience
