This is an opportunity based across the Doncaster area working at multiple schools that have great reputations and are known to foster a supportive and positive environment both for pupils and staff. The role is to effectively teach designated pupils and undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils in the absence of their regular class teacher.
Responsibilities
- Teach designated pupils and undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties
- Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Have effective verbal and written communication
- Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
- Address SEN/SEMH needs
- Utilise strong behaviour management techniques

- Hours: 8:30 – 15:30
