About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver (Driver Level 1) to join the Waste team in Shaftesbury.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving a 3.5T vehicle and assisting with the delivery of waste bins across the local area. You will work as part of a team to provide an essential service to the community, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5T vehicle
- Deliver waste bins to residential and commercial properties
- Assist with loading and unloading as required
- Work collaboratively with your crew to complete daily routes
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Provide a professional and courteous service to the public
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and able to follow instructions
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in waste management or a similar driving role
- Knowledge of Dorset and surrounding areas
- Manual handling training
Working Hours
- Up to 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 – 14:00
