We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general high‑risk and low‑risk hygiene tasks, including washing equipment, walls, floors, overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene across all areas of the site.
- Liaise closely with the Hygiene Team Leader, work with chemicals, and ensure containers are labelled and locked at all times.
- Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not compulsory; full training will be provided.
- Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery, handle and use chemicals (subject to passing COSHH training).
- IPAF certification desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
