Designated Night Care Assistant

Description

• Designated Night Care Assistant part time required for our Maitland House Care Home in Reading.
• The position is for nights – 22 hours per week – Friday and Saturdays.
• Shift times: 9.00pm to 9.00am.
• The role will involve provision of hands on high standards of care to our elderly residents and ideally you will have an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or you have a minimum of NVQ2 and you are working towards Level 3.
• Pay per hour: £15.05 (with NVQ3) and £14.30 (with NVQ2).
• £2.00 hourly uplift at weekends.

You will be required to:

• Support residents’ daily needs.
• Give medication.
• Provide washing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care.
• Assist at meal times.
• Support residents with their mobility.

Requirements

• Live in a 10 mile radius of Reading.
• Ideally you must have an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care to be considered for this position or NVQ2 working towards Level 3.
