General Warehouse Operative

CML stores and delivers a wide variety of food products in a chilled temperature environment whilst also offering a series of added value solutions to its clients. This is a career, not just a job.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

• Loading and unloading pallets using a ride‑on powered pallet truck (PPT).
• Loading and unloading different types of trailers using an RF gun to scan pallets.
• Moving pallets throughout the warehouse and allocating them to relevant locations.
• Observe fast‑paced operation and meet workplace targets.
• Maintain a conscientious and reliable work ethic.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Reach‑truck licence required.
• Ability to work within a chilled environment of 2–5 °C.
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
• Excellent target‑driven performance in a fast‑paced environment.

Shift & Salary

Shift patterns operate on a banked hours scheme. Shift: 4 on 4 off, 18:00 – 06:00 am. Salary: £30,424.66.
