Air Import Clerk

Import Clerk – Freight Forwarding Feltham £25,000 – £30,000 Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

I’m currently working with a fantastic freight forwarder based in Feltham who are looking to bring in an Import Clerk – a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career looking to develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

This role would suit a second jobber with some exposure to imports who’s looking to build their knowledge and take ownership of shipments from start to finish.

The Role

• Managing import shipments from start to finish (mainly air freight)
• Liaising with overseas agents, airlines, and hauliers
• Handling customs entries and ensuring compliance
• Monitoring shipments and resolving any delays or issues
• Providing clear and professional updates to customers
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed on time

What They’re Looking For

• Some experience within freight forwarding (imports preferred)
• Basic understanding of customs procedures
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
