About the Role

As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide in-home support for older people and help them live safely, confidently, and independently in their own home.

  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Supporting medication routines
  • Transport to shops and appointments
  • Social support and companionship
  • Encouraging community participation and independence

About You

  • Available at least 3 days per week
  • Able to work independently and manage your time.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone.
  • Additional languages highly valued (Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Italian, Polish, Serbian, Vietnamese)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services, or Aged Care
  • Current driver’s licence and a registered, insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Paid travel (kilometres)
  • Paid training and ongoing support
