Ramp Agents are the front line of aircraft movements, responsible for unloading and loading passenger aircraft, freight, mail, courier and sometimes live animals.

Responsibilities

• Make aircraft safe on arrival by chocking and powering the aircraft prior to passenger disembarkation.
• Move ground equipment such as steps to the airplane for embarking and disembarking passengers.
• Safely off‑load and deliver passenger bags to arrival areas.
• Safely load passenger baggage, cargo, mail items and other ULDs, using specialised GSE (FMC).
• Prepare aircraft for departure: hold closure, door locking, FEGP disconnection.
• Perform aircraft pushback or tow, including headset control and wing walking.
• Work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (required).
• Flexible approach to work, good teamwork attitude.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in all weather.
• Prepared for early mornings, late nights, and shift work.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Certification

Hold a valid UK drivers licence and receive airport driving permit (ADP) training and testing.
