Job Title: Female Support Worker
Reporting to: Team Leader
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:50am-4:20pm
Locations: Christchurch, Dorset
Important Note
Due to the current demands on the service and to meet the specific care needs of the individuals supported, we require a female Support Worker for this role. This requirement is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Role Overview
We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. You’ll be part of a supportive environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent day-to-day care and support
- Encourage individuals to engage in new activities that promote confidence and independence
- Assist with all aspects of personal care
- Drive company vehicles and act as an escort when required
- Administer medication (once appropriately trained) in line with policy
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and support provided
- Follow all organisational policies and procedures
- Ensure training is kept up to date
- Participate in regular support and supervision sessions

Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy – Essential
- Full UK manual driving licence – Essential
Experience
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities – Desirable
