  • Waking Support Worker – Liberty House
  • Location: Luton, LU2
  • Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
  • Contract: 43.75 Average Hours Per week: 19:30 – 20:00 Shift rotation: Week 1: 3 nights / Week 2: 4 nights

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients
  • Responding to any incidents or emergencies with confidence and care
  • Providing emotional support to clients who may be restless or anxious
  • Carrying out routine checks and light administrative tasksMaintaining a secure and calm environment in line with safeguarding policies

  • Previous experience in a support or care setting (desirable but not essential)
  • A kind, empathetic, and patient nature
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A genuine interest in addiction recovery and helping others

The Recruitment Process:

  • You will have an initial phone conversation with the talent acquisition specialist, which will be an informal chat and opportunity to ask questions about the position
  • If you are successful in your initial phone conversation, you will be required to undertake an interview on‑site or via video conference. (please note that if you have a video/in‑person interview, you will be required to visit the centre at a later date for our 2nd stage interview)
