EduTalent are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a small, dedicated team supporting children and young people aged 5-19 with SEN within a residential special school setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils/students with additional needs.
The Role
- Work up to 44 hours per week over four nights on a shift rota, from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am, Sunday to Thursday, term time only.
- Provide high-quality, person‑centred care and support to children and young people with SEN during the night.
- Work closely with a supportive residential team to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements
- Positive, kind, and caring approach with a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people with SEN.
- Basic knowledge of the care and support needs of children and young people with SEN.
- Health & Social Care Level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while showing initiative and reliability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work nights as per rota.
