Complex Care Support Worker
Libertatem Healthcare Group, rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission, supports clients with personal injuries and medical negligence across the UK. We are seeking a Complex Care Support Worker to provide high‑quality care for a young woman in her 20s who has Lennox‑Gestaut syndrome.
The role involves supporting her with epilepsy/seizure management, autism, learning disabilities, PEG feeding, oral suctioning and promoting her independence through daily and overnight care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the client’s condition and health status
- Support with daily and nightly routines
- Administer medication and monitor its effectiveness
- Assist with personal hygiene and mobility tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
Qualifications
- Experience in complex care, particularly with neurological conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach to working independently and collaboratively
- Ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family
Pay & Hours
Days: £14.50 per hour on weekdays, £15.50 per hour on weekends. Nights: £14.90 per hour on weekdays, £15.90 per hour on weekends. Hours: Bank, days and/or waking nights (days 08:00‑20:00, nights 20:00‑08:00).
